BeMyVA Outstanding VA 2017

What a brilliant two days it’s been at the Office Show 2017! The show incorporated a full day dedicated to Virtual Assistants – right up my street. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network and meet like-minded people in business. And what made it even more exciting was bringing the Outstanding Virtual Assistant award for 2017 back to Scotland for the second time!

Be My VA

Sponsors of the VA awards are BeMyVA – a fantastic organisation that champions Virtual Assistants, connecting them with businesses in need of support. Attending the VA Conference at the office show is always a great experience, and it’s so wonderful to see BeMyVA recognising Virtual Assistants and giving back to a sector that revolves around supporting others.
A huge part of what makes being a VA so very special is the community spirit. Virtual Assistants are willing to share their knowledge and experience, and to lift up those around them. Nowhere is this more evident than at the VAConference.

The highest standard of Virtual Assistants

Celebrating 10 years of the conference there was a special 10th Anniversary Award, the ultimate recognition of excellence within the VA industry.
Entries were invited from previous national winners and as always, we were in fantastic company. All the nominees really are at the very top of their game, living up to the stellar standards set by BeMyVA. We were especially lucky to share the limelight with Heather from Virtual Personal Assistant – NI and Gwen from Curlew Secretarial Solutions, both amazing businesses run by marvellously dedicated and inspiring women.
We’re also delighted that Amanda Johnston of Virtual Assistant Coaching and Training scooped the award for best VA Training provider. The fact that Michelle is a VACT graduate really proves what amazing training the company provide.
Huge thanks to BeMyVA and to everyone who made this year’s VA Conference and Office Show so special. And although we’re hanging up our boots as far as future VA awards go we can’t wait for next years conference!
